ABOUT
Glenda Sha - Liberty Homestead
I began my business, Liberty Homestead, in 1979. Over all these years there have been many changes and variations on a theme, but it began with quilting and quilts are still my main focus. Besides dyeing my own hand dyed sueded cottons, I also design and publish quilt patterns and kits, as well as my Banners of the Month and Blocks of the Month. My newest online project – Mailbox Quilts – has been great fun already! One of my favorite things to do are all the quilt shows I’ve participated in around the country where I’ve met & talked with fellow quilters from coast to coast. While I’ve been down many paths in my career, I never stray too far away from my quilted beginning.

ABOUT
Maria Tamaoka - Pinwheels
The name Pinwheels has become synonymous with my special Japanese fabric called Taupe. In the years since I started my business in 1991 I’ve worked extensively with this wonderful fabric and now offer cut-fabrics, kits, tools, and Blocks of the Month, all surrounding the Japanese Taupe. Besides being a retail business owner, I’ve worn the hats of quilt designer, teacher, wholesale business woman, and the owner of an impromptu quilt show called Pinwheels and Friends. Pinwheels also offers one-of-a-kind products as a result of my travels and research around the world. And because all that is not enough to keep me busy, my newest venture, Mailbox Quilts, is a perfect next step!
